2023 amendments to the Federal Rules of Evidence

The 2023 amendments to the Federal Rules of Evidence are now in effect. Courts and practitioners must be familiar with the new rules to ensure that they are applied correctly, especially Rule 702 governing expert witness testimony. Thanks to the Federalist Society for publishing this brief guide.

The Trilogy of Personal Jurisdiction and the Importance of Ford

PLAC has assembled a Task Force of outside and in-house counsel with deep experience in Multi-District Litigation to evaluate common issues and challenges facing defendants in MDLs and to develop strategies for effective, consistent approaches to these cases. PLAC’s MDL Task Force has prepared and submitted two Comment Letter to the Federal Advisory Committee on civil rules.
